About Abeline

I have been teaching kids for a couple years, and have gained a lot of experience along the way. I taught children ages 0-15 basic to advanced swimming skills/safety in the water at a swim school called Safe Splash. This helped me understand the ways that different children learn best, and how to work through their learning challenges. After that, I got a job at MindZone Learning, which is a tutoring company focused on tutoring kids in Mathematics, reading, and writing. In that job, I was able to encourage and guide kids to have a better understanding of the subjects. I am currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Psychology at Iowa State with a focus in Early Childhood Development, and have a minor in Biology. From these experiences, it is clear that I am a qualified tutor looking to help kids learn!
