About Abby

Empowering young learners to reach their full potential is the cornerstone of my five years of tutoring experience. I specialize in elementary Math and English, focusing on building genuine confidence rather than rote memorization. My approach centers on breaking complex problems into manageable steps to maintain momentum and keep students engaged. I prioritize open communication with both students and parents to create a collaborative environment built on trust. By actively listening to how you learn best, I adapt my methods to suit your individual needs. Seeing a student's confidence soar as they master a new skill is the most rewarding part of my work. I am comfortable working in various settings, including your home, local libraries, or online. I truly look forward to helping you discover the joy of learning while achieving your academic goals.
