About Abby

Hi! My name is Abby and I love babysitting. I started babysitting in the 8th grade and primarily worked for one parent. She was a single mom with three kids. The eldest had seizures and was special needs - I was able to learn how to administer medicine and soothe him. Since I also have a peanut/tree nut allergy I'm quite good with an epi-pen and being extra aware with kids with allergies. I was with this family for 5 years and when I'm home I still stop by and say hello. When I started the kids were 3, 5, and, 7. I also did light babysitting for the mom's friends, so I'd do random gigs here and there for people having date nights. I also worked as a dance teacher for a year where I taught ages 3-13. I'd say I have a lot of experience with kids and I really enjoy it. I just graduated from Ithaca College with a degree in Musical Theatre.
