I have a BS in philosophy and an honors BFA in dance. Reading is one the biggest parts of my life. I am a painter, writer, and have a background teaching art and dance to kids aged 3-18. I have worked with public schools as well as private studios and afterschool programs. I like to work with kids because I am interested in wonder and because kids continue to be the funniest and most astute people I meet. I have the deepest respect for the kingdom of childhood. I understand it to be both complicated and vital. I have found that caring for kids, protecting them, challenging and connecting with them is some of the most fulfilling work I could do. I also like to run, cook, draw, and collage.
