Hello! I'm Abby. I have been a professional tutor since 2015. With experience tutoring anything from reading and writing to SAT/ACT test prep and college apps, I enjoy helping students of all ages reach their full potentials. My areas of expertise are all things college prep and English: ACT test prep, SAT test prep, college application essays, the Common App, college counseling, general essay writing, literacy, reading comprehension, and writing skills development. As a certified college counselor, I am able to help with as much or as little of the admissions process as needed. College counseling looks different for each student, so I come up with a plan that is customized to each student's needs. I also have three years of corporate experience tutoring literacy and reading comprehension at Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes. I am trained in Lindamood-Bell's effective Visualizing & Verbalizing and Seeing Stars programs for literacy and reading comprehension development.

I couldn't have asked for a better tutor! Abby is very friendly, helpful and really knows her stuff.Abby helped me study for my ACT test.She was always on time and prepared with so much helpful material to help me understand what I was doing before practicing taking the test with the practice ACT test packets she provided.My score increased by 5 points on the English section and 1-2 points on the 3 remaining sections within about 2.5 weeks! Best investment ever!
