About Abby

Hi! My name is Abby, I'm 23 years old. I spend my free time exploring nature, hanging by the river and going snowboarding! I currently work at Stevens Pass as a team lead in their Ski and Ride School, where I work directly with kiddos age 3-14. I instruct snowboarding and am a resource for other instructors. I've worked in Ski and Ride School for the past two winters. During summers I worked at a YMCA summer camp. Most recently I was an outdoor day camp team lead. I was responsible for planning/organizing daily activities. We swam and kayaked three times a week! I also have experience working during the school year at the YMCA before and after school age care. I'd describe my personality as playful and caring, with a focus on safety! I'm hoping to find something reliable and long term. I've worked on and off with kids since childhood, I started watching kids during my mom's PTA meetings. Since I've taught youth sports, mentored kids and tutored as well.
