About Abby

I'm currently a sophomore at Western Washington University. I'm studying psychology and hoping to specialize in childhood development. My ultimate goal is to become a pre adolescent and adolescent counselor. I've worked multiple full time child care positions as well as short term nanny jobs. In high school I was a major theatre kid and I love to make even the smallest things seem like adventures! I'd describe my personality as outgoing, empathetic, and definitely silly! I like working with kids because I feel the treatment and examples children get when they're young can shape so much of their life. I feel it's a honor to support creating a better human. I started working with kids when I was around 13 years old. I've always loved having responsibilities and felt more fulfilled with them. In my spare time, I like to hike, picnic, and I love a good book! One thing you should know about me is I am used to kids with big feelings and am very confident during hard times.
