About Abby

I'm an experienced 18-year-old, enthusiastic babysitter. My journey into childcare began with previous babysitting roles and taking care of neighbors children, I am very good at bonding with children while still enforcing rules! I'm from New York but spent most of my time in New jersey, I definitely can say that has something to do with why I'm so good with kids because I grew up in a neighborhood where all the neighbors where close and we where used to being outside kids! I know all the childhood games and I also feel like as a kid they should stray from technology and be a kid! Communication is key, and I believe in keeping parents regularly updated about their child's day through texts or phone calls, always respecting their preferred method of contact. When it comes to household chores I'm able to cook and do light cleaning but I also have to note that I work an overnight shift currently it's temporary, but I'm only available until around 7 o'clock.
