About Abbie

I like working with kids because of the change in perspective. Children see the work in such a different way than adults, and it's refreshing to get more in touch with your inner child when around them. It is also cool seeing them be excited for things we might not think twice about anymore as they navigate life for the first time. I'm looking for a job that provides me with a new outlook on life. I want to find my place in Chicago, and what better way than to help a child figure out their own place in the world. I started working with kids when I got my first ever job as a camp counselor at a summer camp. I loved seeing the kids and building bonds with them, and I look forward to going back every summer. In my spare time, I like to craft. I worked at Michaels Craft Store in high school, so I love trying new activities in my free time.
