About Abbey

I'm a reliable and caring individual with a passion for working with children! I have experience working with elementary aged kids as an in-building substitute teacher as well as previous babysitting and nanny experience. This summer I will finish my associate's degree in Elementary Education and am currently pursuing a degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, which has given me an understanding of child development, learning styles, and communication needs. In my experience working with elementary aged students I have learned skills that help me create a safe, structured, and fun environment. I'm happy to help with homework and provide educational activities. I especially love spending time outdoors and incorporating fresh air, nature, and creativity into my time with children. I prioritize communication with families and strive to be dependable and adaptable.
