About Abbey

I'd describe my personality as loving, aware, and joyful. I like working with kids because they teach us about what's most important in life. I love to care for others because it helps me to live and love outside of myself. Plus, they are hilarious! I started working with kids when I was in high school (7 years ago). I am a college graduate; I graduated from Bates College this May 2023. I was a babysitter multiple times a week in college for a newborn and a 3-year-old. This past year I nannied for kids ranging from infants to 7 years old. In my spare time, I like to be outside, dance, and sing. I love spending time with my family. My skills include being present with the child, listening, and creating unique, fun activities for us to do that does not involve screen time. I also speak Spanish and can teach guitar and piano.
