About Abbay

Hi, I'm Abbay! I am a 22-year-old UNR grad and licensed long-term substitute for WCSD. I have four years of paid experience working leading campers ages 7-16 through week-long sleep-away camp experiences. I am knowledgable about child development stages, safety, conflict mitigation, and all things teaching. I am also waterfront lifeguard (CPR/AED/first aid) certified. I will be a good fit for families who are looking for a reliable, experienced, and detail-oriented sitter. I am comfortable with children of all ages and confident managing activities outside the home, play dates, and all forms of play; I am also happy to help with household tasks and errands. Screen-free play and learning is an important value of mine, so I may not be a good fit for you if your household routine is heavily tech-based. Clear communication is extremely important to me, and I hope to work as a team member with my families so I can best carry out their goals.
