About Aaliyah

Hi Families! My name is Aaliyah and I have always had a passion working with kids! My journey into childcare began with my passion of positively impacting children's lives, which led to me becoming a teacher for preschoolers. With three years of experience caring for children aged 0-3 and 0-11, I bring a patient, creative, and friendly approach to every interaction. I hold a college degree from UC Berkeley, have CPR training and I am educated on Early Child Development coursework. As a certified and trained teacher, I enjoy playing educational games, board games (I love chess!), and outdoor sports with children. I am very hands-on and love creating engaging, fun learning experiences. I am happy to help with light housekeeping when needed. I am also pet-friendly and comfortable working in homes with animals.
