About Aaliyah

Hello! I am looking for a full time care giving job. My Nana had a day care in her house growing up. I use to think that meant I was supposed to take care of the kids too even tho I was little myself. My mom is a teacher so child care and development is something I've been around since I was a little one myself. In high school I took a parenting and childcare course, in college I interned for a nonprofit teaching girls STEM. We'd take them on field trips and write the after school curriculum ourselves. Before Covid shut us down I also worked at a playground gym where I did administrative work, had to clean to state standards, taught fun parkour and jiu-jitsu classes, and worked with the parents to ensure child's safety and fun! I've been a nanny on and off for years it's definitely my happy place. I believe kids encourage me to be the best adult I can and I love that about them. I'd love the chance to work full time with a family that has any age range of kids and even pets too!
