Hi! My name is Jasmin and my husband is Edwin. We are expecting our first baby in early August. We decided instead of daycare, we'd be looking for someone to watch our baby at home! This is mainly because I work from home, so it would be nice to have the extra help while I'm working. I know that may be uncomfortable for some folks to have a parent home while they're babysitting but I'm hoping to find someone who is open to this experience and make it fun. My schedule with work varies week to week. There will be days where im booked in meetings from 9-5 and some days, im just doing busy work and will have some free time. With the varying schedule, im looking to pay someone bi-weekly at a set rate since my schedule is so unpredictable. On slower days, I may be able to let you get off early or it may be helpful for you to stay with baby while I run errands! But no matter what, you'll be paid that set rate. Ideally, while I'm working, I'm looking for someone that can stay with baby, play with them during their wake hours, feed them, go on walks, be super patient, and just keep and eye and love on them! If you love tiny little humans, this is the job for you! I also have two corgis who are so loving but are pretty active. They'll probably require some pets/cuddles. Putting them outside from time-to-time would be helpful. They're barking can be a bit much at certain times.

About who needs care: My husband, Joe, has poor balance and needs a walker all the time. He also has dementia. He is confused and forgetful. Sometimes he hears and sees things. He sleeps most of the day. We have two small dogs, which he adores. He likes to take them for walks but must be accompanied and use his walker. His personality is pleasant, but he can be stubborn. I have a bark collar, and I will show the caregiver how to use it. The female dog, Izzy, is very sweet.
