Who needs care: Help needed with housework, meal prep, etc. No client care needed at this time, but the person does need to be comfortable with and able to interact with a client with symptoms of age-related dementia. This primarily presents as short-term memory loss, volatile mood, and general grumpiness. There is also a hearing loss/refusal to wear hearing aid issue. However, the person would not be providing any direct care for this client, only working around him and occasionally interacting with him.
Care needs: Need someone who will be able to deal with the generally unpredictable, often inexplicable, and sometimes hurtful behavior of a person with age-related dementia.
Services needed: meal preparation, laundry and housekeeping; possibly errands/shopping.
*Days and hours to be determined based upon caregiver.*
