We are looking for a caregiver (or 2) for this sweet girl starting March 6! Likely hours are Monday and Tuesday 8-5 and Wednesday and Thursday 11:30-5:30. In the summer we will need care on a more full-time basis. About C.: C. is one of the happiest 3-year-olds you'll ever meet. She loves to smile and laugh and absolutely adores all her "people." Expect squeals when you come in the door once she gets to know you. C. has cerebral palsy and is therefore limited in her mobility. She weighs about 25 lbs so being able to lift her is a must. She is not medically complex, and her care is pretty straightforward (no feeding tubes, breathing issues, etc). C. is non-verbal but does communicate by nodding yes to questions we ask.

Our son loves to be outdoors. He is easy going and always up for anything. He currently goes to preschool and will be involved in a preschool summer program for a few weeks this summer, but the weeks that he does not have school, we would love some help. School is from 9-12 and some afternoons, we could also use someone. We are very flexible, but depend on someone to be reliable. We are not only looking for summer help, but help throughout the school year (after school, holidays, etc). We do have one dog in the home. He is hypoallergenic (shih-poo) and so lazy, you'll never know he's there. He enjoys being inside but loves being outside, if you're outside. He does not have to be walked, he can be let outside without supervision.

Typically they play games inside, figure out puzzles, listen to story time, play outside on their playground or in the creek, and help make snacks. They are affectionate and love being around people. One knows how to change his pull-ups and the other has been potty trained for a year. They need a happy, energetic person to come play with them 1-3 afternoons a week! Their dad works from home so he can help out if there is a problem. They love dinosaurs and dragons. They enjoy dress up (they have dragon costumes), figuring out puzzles, and making up games. They love hide and seek. They will need a snack prepared for them (typically a fruit, veggie and cheese and crackers). We have a 1-year-old newfie-golden mix, who loves people and attention.
