Hi! I have been a tutor for multiple families in the Phoenix area as I work on my education. My career has taken off, which means I now need to move on and I'm trying to find some referrals to give to the families for this upcoming school year as I won't be returning. There are multiple families with children in elementary school, middle school, and the high school level. Many tutors work independently and there are advantages to that. There are also advantages to working with Tutor Doctor - including that you can still work independently! With Tutor Doctor, you will be an Independent Contractor so we handle the lead searching, payment collection, and goal setting steps for you! You get to support the students YOU CHOOSE on a one-to-one basis, in YOUR own style, primarily in their homes after school. Most students receive tutoring a couple times per week for at least an hour, and you will help them with homework, time management, and rebuild a weak foundation that may be holding them back from thriving at their current level. After each session you will submit brief notes to summarize what was covered. Here's what we do for you: We generate the marketing which drives new family enrollments. We consult with the family and student to understand their goals and set realistic expectations for the session frequency and duration. We handle billing and payroll. We provide you lists of students, their preferred times, location and area of focus.
