Need someone to watch kids while I'm at work

I have a 4-year-old autistic son that is very loving and sweet. He is high functioning and verbal but can be a handful. He does have tantrums but we are working on that as they are not very often and mostly when transitioning from one activity to another. What I am looking for is someone kind and patient that can gently redirect him as needed. We only need someone to watch him on date nights or when we are running errands and possibly to help with taking him to school on Monday mornings and from school Friday afternoons. (Not until August but that would be a ways away.) I'd like someone local. I'm extremely protective of my son and would like to meet you before we agree to go forward. I want someone who would be comfortable with us being present when they interact with him as well as alone. Additional needs include pick up / drop off, having a reliable car and being comfortable with pets. Family Age Groups: Youth. Diagnosis: Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD.

About who needs care: The patient has heart and kidney failure. He recently had a fall and we are looking for someone to help him while he recovers. He can get around on his own.
