We have an infant that will be about 8 months old when the job starts. She will need care while we work at the high school. We are both teachers and the school is about 15 minutes away by car.
We also have a 7-year-old that will need someone to help him get ready to catch the bus to school in the morning.
The ideal nanny would be prompt, compassionate, attentive (not on the phone all day), patient, . CPR/First Aid training preferred.
We value honesty, dependability, respect, and integrity and expect our children to demonstrate these values in and out of our home.
Our baby is young for activities, but we encourage brain-building activities appropriate for our kids' developmental stages rather than their ages or grade level. We like to play board games together, play or walk outside, and watch movies together (with popcorn, of course).
There is a park across the street from our home. Parking is available there and in front of our house.
Our family includes three small dogs. One is a senior terrier-chihuahua mix (eats senior food but needs no medication). The other two are chihuahua-dachshund mixes. All our dogs are sweet and friendly. The two younger ones only take a visit or two to warm up to new people.
