About who needs care: Currently my aunt underwent emergency surgery for a bowel obstruction and now has a colostomy, she is 57 years old, she has chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and she is having some confusion episodes currently, she is NOT aggressive. My mother and I will assist in her care, I currently work a 5 day/wk. job. Her spouse works also, he is a truck driver and drives out of town from Sunday evening until Wednesday nights. We just need assistance during the evening and some overnight stays, and again, my mother and I will assist with her care as we can, my mother is elderly herself. We need someone to assist with personal care and meal preparation. I would greatly appreciate any assistance or direction and pay is negotiable. Thank you in advance.
About the care needs: Someone who is outgoing, energetic, funny, and can be encouraging. My aunt is currently having some depression, which is understandable considering the traumatic episode she has suffered, but she is a very lovely person who herself at one point was a caregiver. Someone who enjoys art, drawing and solving puzzles!
Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
