Special Education/ speech/ English/ Math/ proctoring for online learning for elementary school student

We are looking for an after-school tutor for a elementary age child. We would like someone to come 2-3X a week to our house in Durham to tutor our child.

Hi - I'm looking for a part-time nanny and tutor for my two daughters (ages 4 and 6). We live in Durham (close to Durham Academy). I'm anticipating remote school for them (they attend a Montessori school). Qualifications: you have teaching experience at the preschool and early elementary level, ideally with Montessori-based learning. Hours are 15-20 hour per week ($30/hour).

Durham family needs a tutor for first grade boy, just general English, Math, and Science at the elementary level online. Ideally we would like someone who is available around 2-3 p.m. (or near those times) on TUESDAYS and THURSDAYS. With kids being out of school we would like extra support to keep him learning. He is a bright and well-engaged child, and easy to work with according to his teachers and to what we have observed.

We are looking for a reading/writing tutor for my 8-year-old niece, she is a kind and spunky 8-year-old and rising 3rd grader. She struggles with reading and writing but desires to get better! We are hoping for someone who can help get her confidence up, as we anticipate online learning will be frustrating for her. Starting out we'd like someone who would be willing to read to her and have her read to them. As time goes on, we'd like her to practice and learn some of the mechanics and techniques for reading/writing. Elementary Ed majors welcomes and encouraged! Or anyone with experience with helping children learn to read!

Looking for a tutor that specializes in K-5 Reading

Durham family needs a part-time tutor for distance learning.

I am looking for someone with skills specifically to help with reading and comprehension at the elementary school level. I have an 8-year-old boy in third grade who is struggling with getting his reading and comprehension up to appropriate grade level requirements. I think he will do best with in person learning as he seems to struggle with understanding what words mean and what is expected from him. I'd like to meet at the local library where there may be minimal distractions as the student struggles to stay on task.

Durham family needs a nearly- or full-time sitter who can also "tutor" for English, Math, and Science (grades 3 and 5) assignments while schools are closed begining April 13 and while I am at work or working on my school assignments. Also in the household is a middle school child who is self-directed with school studies. The children do not have any medical issues or special needs, so will mostly require attention toward completing daily homework assignments and active/creative play (outdoor when able). Times may be variable, mostly during the day, mostly weekdays.

We are a pod of 4 first graders and 2 third graders. We are looking for someone who is available from 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday. This person will facilitate online instruction given by their elementary school. In addition to helping them with their assignments, this person will supplement learning with additional materials. We are looking for an applicant with experience teaching this age group. We are also looking for someone fun who enjoys being outside and will coordinate activities.
