FOR -Elderly woman she has mobility who needs assistance with dressing , preparing meals, or cooking a meal ( not a requisite) washing clothes, light housekeeping, Transportation to Doctor appointments, Public shopping ( or I can order), walking with her at least 30 minutes a day so she does not sit in chair all day.

About who needs care: 90 years old, beginning stages of dementia. Otherwise, good health and mobility for age. Enjoys yard work, cooking and companionship. Very structured about her daily routine. Sleeps and eats very well. She wakes up between 6:00 and 7:00 am, dresses herself and makes her own breakfast, reads the newspaper and would love to go for a walk if physically able that day. Limited housework and yardwork throughout the day and television. Makes her own lunch and dinner but could use assistance with preparing hot meals. Bedtime about 7:00. Showers on her own and watches TV in bed until going to sleep between 8:00 and 9:00. Needs assistance with pills as she takes 2 prescriptions and 6 supplements per day. Friendly and happy. About the care needs: No special skills necessary besides patience and compassion. My moms memory is poor and she will ask the same questions repeatedly. She would really enjoy the companionship of someone with a good heart for conversation, help around the house and possibly infrequent errands and appointments. We are very flexible on the duration of visits and would possibly consider a live-in arrangement. About who needs care: My husband has cancer and is very frail .. he is in Rehab and will probably be discharged in the next few days. I will have a hospital bed brought to my home. He also has dementia and gets confused. While in Rehab he has been very cooperative with the nursing staff and PT. He spends all of his time on bed and sleeps a lot .. He needs assistance getting out of bed to go to the bathroom and also uses a urinal.. I will cook all of the meals but he needs help cutting his food and handling a fork. He will need a daily bath. With one of your nurses in my home I will be able to go to and run other errands. He is 70 years old and I am 71. I cant handle all of the daily activities on my on. About the care needs: They need to have experience with dementia that is mid stage .. he knows family but forgets new people . The caregiver will just need to introduce herself and also probably wear scrubs so he will recognize its a nurse . He spent 2 weeks at Hospital and now is in Rehab.. he has a lot of respect for his nurses ... Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.

Seeking Licensed CNA or HHA care in Winter Park for my Father and Mother both 88 years old. Dad needs some Assistance with medication due to poor vision and is also a Brittle Diabetic.
