I'm a single mom of two small children who is looking for a full time nanny starting in the fall and a part time nanny starting as soon as possible. We are easy going and love to spend most of our time outdoors. I grew up in Anacortes and recently moved back to be closer to family. In the fall, I'm going back to teaching elementary school full time. My daughter will be going to a preschool that is just a few blocks from my house between 9am-12. So most of the day would just involve looking after my 1-year-old and then walking down to pick up his sister after school. We live pretty much walking distance to everything: grocery store, library, parks, waterfront, pool etc. So you wouldn't need to drive anywhere unless desired. I'm looking for someone who loves kids and genuin hanging out and playing with them.

Hello! We are a family of five in Anacortes, and are looking for someone who can help with childcare. Dad (Porter) works from home and is generally around, but works in a separate building in the garage. Mom (Kami) is going to be starting a Master's degree, which is what is prompting our search for help. We have three kids, aged 8, 5 and 2. J, the 8-year-old, will be starting 3rd grade this fall at public school. B, aged 5, will be in full day kindergarten in the fall as well. B will need to be picked up every day. A will be in part time pre-school in the fall as well. Ideally we are looking for someone who can start in June and stay with us through the summer and into the school year.

We live on a farm, there is room to run and play and fun things to do in town. We can share organic vegetables as a bonus. Help us get out the door in the morning, make kid meals, play and read, get outside and go on adventures. A mixture of independent and guided play and tasks works best for our kids. We will need school pickup by car or walking and help with homework scheduling in the afternoon. For childcare we require someone who will show proof of vaccination and is risk adverse in their personal life in relation to the pandemic.
