Hello! We are looking for a full-time summer nanny (our nanny is pregnant and will be on maternity leave) We have two girls 20 months and 4. 5 years. The 4. 5-year-old will be in summer camp most of the day, but you would be involved in picking her up so reliable transportation is a must. Main responsibility will be for the 20-month-old. I want someone who will definitely engage with her throughout the day. This includes sensory activities, reading, working with her on her Montessori shelf and being silly is always a plus! Pay is: $18-20 per hour. We are looking for flexibility as my hours are not consistent, and possibly one weekend a month. Our current nanny is leaving around the end of December, so we are looking to transition someone soon. The 4-year-old goes to Montessori school, and the 1-year-old is home. I work part time and the Nanny would follow my schedule (I can send you an example schedule, but it would be an average of 40 hours a week, usually broken up over 4 days, longer days but also longer weekends) 1 Saturday a month maybe needed. My husband handles school drop off and the nanny does pick up on the days I am working, so a reliable car is necessary. Work can vary but it would include some childcare (reading, bathing, etc) dishes/cleaning, meal prep/ Light kitchen work, freezing breast milk etc This is an ideal job for someone looking to supplement income or a student trying to pick up hours in the evening. We have three little boys, K (9), C (8), and C (8). K and C were recently placed in our home for adoption. They are struggling with the transition, and we need someone to help us weekly to with homework, after school activities, and general getting ready for the next school day and bed. We might also need help periodically on the weekends and an occasional date night. We would prefer someone who has experience with children who have been in foster care and is trauma-informed. Also, our agency would require some additional training to work with the boys.
