Mount Airy, NC Summer Nanny Jobs

Hello, We are looking for home care for our 3-month-old daughter from June-December. (We are currently expecting). Starting in June, it would be 2 days a week and then 4 days a week from July onwards. We would require care from 7:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. We have a comfortable home in central Mount Airy with plenty of indoor/outdoor space.

We are seeking a full-time nanny for our two boys, ages 6 and 2. The ideal candidate is positive, creative, organized and familiar with developmental milestones. Typical hours are Monday-Thursday 8am-6 p.m. with some occasional help needed for date nights, weekends, and to accompany the family on vacation Compensation is $15-$20 per hour depending upon experience. Start date on June 2023. The position requires being a non-smoker, clean driving record, COVID vaccinations, CPR certification, and water safety. Additional needs include light housekeeping, having a reliable car to run errands and school drop off/pick up (mileage reimbursed), providing the children with educational activities, preparing the children's meals, and being comfortable with pets.

I am a cardiology nurse and my husband works for enterprise. We have a 6month old and and 1. 5yr old female golden doodle that loves everyone. I was only working prn (as needed) with thoughts of going back once our baby was 6 months old or 1-year-old BUT our sitter up and quit one day due to getting a divorce. So we have been winging it with child care between my mother in law, my grandma, and my sister in law. Right now I work Mondays and Wednesdays only with hopes of going back full time Monday- Friday 8-4:30 depending on childcare. My child is enrolled to start at a semi public in home daycare August 10th, 2023 BUT we really need help between now and then.

At this time I do not have a structured schedule for when we need childcare. Ideally, I would like to have someone we can call for a date night (usually on the weekend), and potentially help with our kids when I travel for work (usually 1 week a month, sometimes less). When I am away we would need someone here at 5 to handle supper and bedtime - then stay until my husband gets home. We live on a farm and have a lot of family help with the kids, just looking for a little support to give the family a break. An ideal candidate would also be willing to help with kids laundry and prepare meals. We have a 3. 5-year-old (very independent & helpful) and 1-year-old twins. 3-year-old starts MWF full day preschool in August, so some driving may be needed for her when I am out of town.
