Franklin, NC Summer Nanny Jobs

Hello! We are looking for a caring and reliable in-home nanny starting June 2023 to watch our 2-year-old and 6-month-old. Time commitment would be Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We would prefer a nanny who has their own car, who does not smoke, and who is comfortable with a small friendly dog. We are in Franklin, NC for three weeks and are looking for a nanny to watch the kids for a few hours each day. You would come Monday- Friday from July 18-August 5th for 4-5 hour blocks of time each day. The hours could be anytime between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The job is primarily hanging out and playing with two kids, ages 6 and 7, and would also include some meal prep and light housecleaning/straightening. Our ideal match must love kids!

Our daughter is nonverbal, autistic, with a love of getting into trouble and things she's not supposed to. She's such a sweetie pie with a love of playing outside and in. She's impatient and still struggling to figure out her place in the world. She's 3 but still not potty trained so diaper changes will be necessary. She's going to be starting a pre k program in August 2021 that she will need transportation home from the school and a bit of care after school until I get home from work. She loves watching kids movies and TV shows and overall is a great kid, she just doesn't understand certain things and, like any toddler, is testing the limits of what she can and can't do. Our ideal caregiver: My child has autism so I really need someone willing to work with her on basic skills as well as transporting her home from classes and spending time with her while I am at work. I need someone patient and caring that just wants to help. Additional needs include having a reliable car, a non-smoker. We could use help with structuring activities and homework or curriculum assistance. Flexible start date.
