Manitou Springs, CO Summer Jobs

We are a young family in Manitou who just had our first child in August 2022. I return to work on 2/27/23 but don't have daycare coverage until 3/27/23. I need someone to watch my adorable son for that month. If this works out, there is also absolutely a chance that we would ditch daycare and stay with a nanny! I work as a pediatric PT so active play is very important to me. I'm looking for someone who will engage with R. and help him develop. We live very close to parks and hiking trails and would love someone who is willing to do lots of outside play with him. My husband works from home 4 days a week and goes into the office on Tuesdays. He will be there if you have questions or need help but will mostly just be in his home office/out of your way. We do not have any pets and we have a parking spot for you.

I work in a hospital and sometimes they need coverage for other shifts. Our little munchkin is on a regular schedule, a good eater, sleeper and has a fun, sweet disposition. We do not do screen time and prefer someone who will be actively engaged in each stage of learning, with hands on activities. Our little loves going outside, walks to the park, books and art/play. Nap time is 12ish-2ish and we ask you help with light housekeeping during that time. We also have 2 small dogs and a cat, they will need potty breaks outside (fenced backyard). We require someone who is reliable, kind, honest and values open communication. Start in early August.

We're looking for a great regular babysitter for, primarily, our 4-year-old son, and on occasion our 8-year-old daughter. This summer, we are ideally looking for care for 3-4 hours, between 7:30 a.m. and 3 pm, 4 or 5 days a week, and can be flexible on the specific times and days based on what works for you! When September rolls around we're looking for someone who can do 7:30 - 11:45 a.m. Monday - Friday. We would prefer someone who could help out with light housekeeping with kid related things such as dishes, meal prep (snack/lunch), toy pick-up and kids laundry on occasion. We do have pets (2 dogs), so please consider that when applying. We may ask for to occasional camp drop-off or pick-up for our daughter this summer, and in the Fall would drop our 4-year-old at preschool at about 11:45. We are looking for a fun, part-time nanny for our 8-year-old daughter. Flexible schedule during the summer, with the hope that support in the fall would include some tutoring in the event that schools are continuing with part-time remote learning.

About who needs care: Mom has been in rehab after breaking her right hip in June. Mom had a stroke 3 years ago. Her speech and right arm were affected, but she still has a good mind and can still talk, although her speech is slower than it used to be. The caregiver needs to have patience to let her finish her sentences. She likes to watch News, the Food Channel, and band the Daystar Channel on Sundays. In nice weather, Mom also enjoys sitting on the front porch/watching the traffic go by or sitting on her back deck and feeding the birds. About the caretaker: female, friendly, positive attitude, patient (let Mom finish her sentences), a non-smoker, vaccinated Services needed include: meal preparation, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.

We are looking for an energetic babysitter for 2 children in Manitou Springs. We would prefer a babysitter who has their own car, who does not smoke, who is willing to drive children and who is comfortable with pets. Needed mainly for date nights and some day dates during the summer.
