Looking for an occasional special needs caregiver for our three sons ages 6, 7, and 8 with Varying levels of Autism Spectrum Disorder Sensory Integration Disorder, Cognitive Disabilities, Developmental Delays, ADHD, Hydrocephaly in Cranston. Ideal match will meet the requirements below. Must be ok with large (very chill) dogs and be LGBTQ+ friendly.

Providence family needs full time companion/caregiver to spend time with and accompany adult with special needs to entertainment and activities. Must be enthusiastic and creative. Prior experience with special needs children and/or adults preferable. Must have a car and comfortable transporting adult. Adult is a young woman 28 years old with cerebral palsy and significant developmental delays. Cognitive development is around 7-10 years. However she understands most words and instructions and is verbal. She is also mobile but needs wheelchair assistance if walking long distances. She loves car rides, the park, being read to, and all types of music.

This is an unusual request, but I am looking for a special human to hang out with my son (10 yo) once or twice a week. H has an Asperger's profile and is very gifted academically, but is having trouble connecting with peers at school. I am looking for a buddy/mentor/older friend who can hang out with him and basically work on his confidence. It would be great to have a person who speaks more than one language- H is nearly fluent in French and Spanish but needs practice, and is super hungry for more. He also LOVES biking, so it would be wonderful to find someone who could take him out on adventures. His dad and I are busy working after school, and it would be really nice for him to have a kind friend to learn from. Thank you!

A summer employment opportunity with a young man with moderate disabilities who lives on the East Side of Providence. While he works full-time at a local college during the academic year, he has limited work during the summer and would like to get out into the community. The professional will help him go on outings, get to volunteer opportunities, and even work with him at volunteer opportunities to ensure he is making a contribution, and generally help him be active and out of the house. Qualifications include: Experience working with individuals with disabilities. A degree in the field is preferred, but absolutely not required. Enthusiasm, energy, a willingness to engage, an interest in being active, and a sense of humor are required. Access to transportation for outings is essential.

We are looking for a part time nanny to come M-F for 30 hours/week to start ASAP. Our little guys have no special needs other than cuddles. They enjoy being outside and taking strolls in the neighborhood. We have two Boston terriers who are extremely friendly and will be around too.
