Looking for a special ed teacher to tutor my son with autism age 8, during the summer.

We are looking for someone to help out with our 6-year-old, home schooled son, on a regular basis in the afternoons 1-3 days a week for 4-5 hours each day. We both work from home in our detached home office and need some focus time for work in the afternoons or running errands. We are hoping you can spend this time doing crafts, playing in the game room, jumping on the trampoline, or whatever ever skill set you might have. As part of our weekly schedule we have lessons in art, programming, STEM, music and your typical first grade curriculum, so anything is on the table for engaging our curious kiddo. He is medicated ADHD, so taking his meds will be part of the schedule, but he does this we'll. He's a sweet kiddo with impeccable manners and is shy at first. We live at the north end of Burnet on an acre, and we do have pets!

Hello! I'm looking for someone to watch my 3-year-old son for two half-days during the school year and two, possibly three, full days during the summer months. During the school year, he attends a pre-K program for the first half of the day and then will ride a bus to our house. This person will need to be extremely patient and caring. We are in the process of getting a medical diagnosis for autism, which I believe he will be on the higher functioning end of the spectrum, so any experience in that field would be an extreme plus. Three, non-family member references will be required, as well as an interview. And any other certifications or extra education is always a bonus. We're seeking a caring and compassionate caregiver to join our family & help care for our 27-year-old disabled son. Candidates must be warm, friendly and have a strong work ethic. A positive attitude & a genuine passion for providing meals prep, bathing, grooming & medication asst. to our son with high quality care and support. Be a friend & get him out of the house & into the community to do things. Assist with light housekeeping & giving a hand with the laundry from time to time. Other duties may include running errands & driving him to/from appts, as needed. We prefer someone with experience working with people with disabilities but not required. The individual will need to be a non-smoker, comfortable with pets, CPR trained, background check and have reliable transportation. The hours are M - F 8:00 to 4:30 (hours may vary)
