Part Time
We have triplets that were premature 21 years ago and our two boys have varying degrees of cerebral palsy. Leland the smaller one is basically a baby in needs, blind, non-walker but sits up/moves on his own, vocalizes and eats chopped regular food, just needs to be fed. He is a diaper kid. No regular need for lifting him during babysitting as he weighs 80 pounds, but we do have a Hoyer lift if needed. Jack is ambulatory and independent in dressing, toileting and eating, just needs some foods prepared for him (microwave etc.) He does schoolwork, music and audiobooks on his computer, but is also visually impaired. My husband works from home so we are flexible as to scheduling and are open to an ongoing 20-30 hours per week if possible. We can accept fewer hours of care if needed as we have had very little help all these years. Our goals are trying to cover some work time for Dan and some off work time for me so we can go out together with the other child, as she is more functional and goes to college. If interested, we can FaceTime or online with you from home so you can see the kids and our setup to help decide if this is for you. Thanks!
