Respite Care Jobs

For this job, I would need someone who has experience with special needs kids. Both my sons are hearing impaired and my older son is autistic. My sons love being outside and being active weather it's riding bikes, scooters or simply playing at the park. They love playing with trains and construction vehicles and even watching them on TV. Just like most kids they need reminders to share, take turns and follow instructions. In general my boys are fun and sweet boys. Patience and experience with special Ed kids. Dog

Help needed for my mother in her 90s - seeking part-time respite care. We currently have round the clock care but our caregivers need to have time off occasionally. Mom has had 2 TIA's so her needs vary. She is not bed-bound but needs to be lifted from bed to wheelchair and back. The ideal match will meet the requirements below. She needs help with bathing, dressing, meals, etc. Preferences for a caregiver who is CPR / first-aid trained.

I'm looking for respite care for my mother in her 90s. The ideal care-taker would be available to work some evenings/overnight or a day shift as needed to supplement our current caregivers. She is mobile but now having some "sundowner" syndrome and confusion at night. She still has a sense of humor! Must be a non-smoker and prefer CPR / first-aid trained.

Looking for a responsible and caring caregiver to provide respite on Friday and Saturday nights here and there. This is not an every weekend position, but I would like to find a certified DDD caregiver to bill my respite hours so I can go out from 8 p.m. until 2 a.m. some weekend nights. My son is a very normal, social kid - just has mobility issues. He will be in bed watching TV and will likely not need help while you are here. I just don't feel comfortable leaving him alone just in case something happened to me.

Prefer someone interested in adding fun, stimulation and creativity into our daughter's life. Three to four-hour shifts are available weekdays late afternoon/early evening and Saturday mornings/afternoons. Other days/hours as needed and possibility of overnight care would be a plus. Even one shift would be helpful and days/times are flexible.

H. likes sensory seeking behavior. Ex trampolines, swings, playgrounds, and loves to go to the sensory gym. She must be taken out daily to be around peers. A car seat will be provided. H. has moderate/severe autism as well as ADHD. Our family includes mom, dad, two older brothers that will be in school, and a puppy which you will not be responsible for. She qualifies for respite care through the state of AZ. In order to qualify for this position you will need to be certified already, or I will walk you through the steps. It's just a CPR/ first aid card, article 9 course, mvd record, and fingerprint card. I will pay for classes and any other fees. You do not need to be completely certified prior to employment. You will be paid appx $17/hr via W2 and $8/hr directly from me..

Days of the week are negotiable but prefer Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 to 12:30 (or 930-2). applicant must have own transportation, be at least 21-year-old, and be willing to take her to play centers, parks etcetera. In order to qualify for this position you must be willing to go through the Arizona State respite training certification. You will be paid in part by the state and part by me via cash or online pay.
