Help needed for my older sister in her 70s - seeking part-time recurring hands-on care. We are looking for respite care one day a week (Wednesdays), with the availability of overnight care as needed. My 21-year-old son typically stays overnight with her when we go out of town. However, your care might be needed if his schedule does not allow him to help overnight. My husband and I are looking to set up a schedule to go out of town once a month. The ideal match will meet the requirements below. Assistance with medication is needed. Please be willing to do light housekeeping. Some help needed with bathing. We're looking for some help preparing meals. Duties include providing companionship and social interaction. Part of your responsibilities will include running errands.

We need a senior care provider with experience for my mom who lives with us. She is soon to be 91. Our timing needs are 3 afternoons a week and maybe sometimes a date evening, if possible. My husband and I are my mom's primary caregivers but we need help with showering and a couple afternoons for us to getaway for a bit. Mom is in really good shape physically for someone her age, with a few exceptions. Mobility is an issue for her. We will help with transfers for shower or to bathroom. She is incontinent so our caregiver needs to be experienced in dealing with changes from bed. She needs full assistance with dressing. Mom is very sweet, happy, easy going and loves to talk. She has some dementia but it's not too bad at this point, most occasionally confused and memory lapses. We just need some respite time. Please reply if interested

My in-laws are willing to pay $20 per hour for 10 hours a week. The job would also include some respite care for my Wife who is handicapped. Regardless of what the posting says you do not have to have a college degree.
