We are looking for a fun, engaging in-home tutor for our 5-year-old daughter on Thursday afternoons from 3-5:30p to help support her reading progression, work on math skills, and do fun science experiments. She asks lots of questions and loves to chat so patience is a must! haha =)

I have a second grader that is significantly below grade level. He is receiving special education services at a Elementary School in West Seattle. He is reading level F/G level books with some struggle. Writing is a struggle as well. Lots of backward letters still at the age of 8. His math skills are tremendous. I have not had him formally assessed at this point in time but suspect it would confirm a diagnosis of dyslexia. I am dyslexic and his son's dad also dealt with learning disabilities. He teachers describe him as hard working, focused on improving but can also be quick to give up if something is too hard. They say he has made great progress since getting services through school. I am looking for a tutor to help maintain progress through the summer months.

Hi there! My son is a 3rd grader and he needs a little help with his school assignments and homework, mostly with Math and reading/writing. The ideal candidate will be able to pick him up from school daily/3 times a week, and spend the rest of the time going through daily assignments and homework. Looking for a tutor for my 6 (grade 1) and 5 (k) year old boys! Subjects will be math and language arts or any kind of support you think they may need. we need to improve our son's reading, writing, and math. He doesn't enjoy school and he refuses to do great, so we are pushing him to get help so maybe he gets better and likes school better.
