We will be out of the country and are looking for someone to take care of our dogs in their home (your is fine too). Come and go as you please, but check in on them as if they were your own. I work from home, so they have never not had someone at home for most of their day (but they are able to be alone for several hours at a time). Low maintenance pups (even lower maintenance cat), they just like having someone around. Fenced yard, so no walks are necessary, just food, water and attention. Dogs are mini and standard Australian Shepards. One girl, one boy. Elusive tuxedo cat who only appears when it's time to eat.

Interested Pet Sitters must possess the following traits, abilities and tools: Mature adults with pet sitting and vet tech experience a plus! Commitment to a schedule of availability and follow-through with accepted/scheduled visits. Please indicate time frames that you are applying for, and must have Availability for most holidays. Our schedule varies from week to week depending on the client's needs. Critical thinking and ability to solve problems should they arise. Pet Sitting can be unpredictable whether it is because of the pet you are watching or a house alarm that won't turn off or a key that is tricky to turn, just to name a few. Able to follow directions and perform visits exceeding our client expectations.Very important that you are detail oriented, organized and patient! Great communication and customer service skills. Ability to administer oral medication to cats and dogs. Administering insulin injections and fluids is a plus. Please only apply if you can pet sit for at least a six month minimum. Must own a PC with working Internet connection and a Printer. Must own a smartphone in case of emergency. Ability to lift 40 lbs and walk 3-5 miles if needed. Must have reliable insured transportation. Must have a clean background check. As one will be run if you are a candidate of interest. Position varies from area to area based on clients needs. Depending on the area of town that you are in, vs clients we service in that area, this job can be part time income or just as needed where you would do a few visits here and there as the need arises.
