Supplement to earlier job description - simplest to discuss this need and other needs live, as I'm flexible and it could work different ways. My surgery situation, and my mobility, is a moving target also - now pre-op but limited by pain, then will have hip replacement surgery (no firm date, but ASAP, will find out by end of September), really immobile right after surgery, then gradually moving better in recovery PT etc. Easiest to discuss live, to see how your availability might match up with my upcoming timetable. Potty (identify type and quality, i.e. look for dehydration or diarrhea)/ poop pickup/ feeding, in mornings; and ditto, evenings, + also play evenings (as an athletic Lab, she's an addicted catcher - fetcher, so that game, in the backyard, is enough to wear her out in 15 to 30 minutes. Way better than walking or the dog park, provided she's healthy to run & jump. PS she's a dear, sweet, unusually smart, well - intentioned, though sometimes little headstrong, girl - loads of fun but quite well-disciplined, except when she occasionally loses her mind.

I need a sitter to take care of 1 small parrot in Boulder for the week of 10/7 through 10/15. Chicken is a 6-year-old Jenday conure who loves to dance and listen to music. Please see below for responsibilities, schedule and more. Job includes socializing with him through cage bars, with outside-of-cage interaction if comfortable. Boarding would be ideal, but would also consider a stay over at my place. He would also need to be fed once daily with water changed twice daily. Non-smoker preferred.
