No agencies! My mother is the primary caregiver for my father with Alzheimers and does all cooking and medication. She is in her late 70s and is due for a knee operation in April 2023 so she will need assistance as well while she recovers. This is a long term position. Our ideal candidate would be willing to work 20-40 hours per week while we make sure all personalities are compatible and then move into the home. The caregiver will be provided their own bedroom and bath at no cost. You will have days off every week so students will be considered. You must answer these questions if you want a response: 1. Have you provided care for Alzheimer's patients? How many? 2. What is your hourly rate prior to move in? Weekly rate once moved in? 3. Do you have a car to take to doctor's appts and grocery stores? 4. Are you ok with W2/payroll?

We need hands-on care to take care of myself in Windermere. We would prefer someone who can handle light housekeeping. Assistance with bathing is one of our requirements. I an a no lift as I can pivot in and out of wheelchair. With my transportation company/ you will be going to my water therapy. Additional responsibilities include meal preparation. About who needs care: We believe she is showing signs of dementia. She does enjoy walks and going out to lunch. She needs help with all living activities including but not limited to dressing, bathing, walking, etc. She enjoys company but when she's having a bad day of not feeling well she stays in bed. About the care needs: The ideal caregiver would be patient, understanding and caring. Be able to lift a body weight of 120lbs to help get her up from chairs or in bed. I would hope to see a caregiver that will enjoy walks, conversation, and going to lunch when she likes to get out of the house. Hours of need would would include a few days throughout the week and occasional overnight stay on the weekends.
