About who needs care: Heart Disease Hobbies/Interests- Music, Jazz, plays piano. Politics. Daily news Ideal Day - A creature of habit. Makes breakfast, lunch and dinner about same time every day. Reads paper in the am, goes thru mail and watches politics on TV. When feeling stronger was active, long walks, bicycle rides. He still drives and does errands, Dr's and such. About the care needs: Skils - Someone who can maybe check his vitals every few days. Dad is VERY independent and is resisting this as many do I believe. Someone who will NOT dote on him. He likes to do things himself. So someone who will not make him feel like he can't do things on his own. And being on the right side of politics would go a long way. Not that they have to talk politics with him but again he watches this stuff on and off all day and night. He is an intelligent, VERY stubborn man, old fashioned, well he is 95, to be 96 om April26. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance.

About who needs care: My dad is 88 and has very little strength in his legs. He needs assistance in the late afternoon to move from the living room to the bedroom so that he is set for the evening. They (my mom and dad) also need meal prep for lunch and the evening meal. About the care needs: Ideally the caregiver would be patient, kind, caring, and also strong enough to be able to lift my dad in case he needs support in getting up and into his chair and/or into their bed. My mom & dad are resistant to having in home care, but I live in Washington DC and I am starting to get concerned. My mom has dementia (but is otherwise very healthy and happy), but unfortunately, she is not able to cook anymore due to how dementia has affected her logic. Ideally, I would like a caregiver who could help relieve the burden of cooking and help support my dad due to his lack of strength. It would also be nice if the caregiver could go for a short walk with my mom. My mom and dad are soulmates and have been married for 60 years. Senior care needed for my dad. He was recently discharged from Encompass Home Health Acute Care Rehab. Our care concerns are: Medication Prompting, Mobility Assistance, Wound Care (Ostomy Bag), Help Staying Physically Active, Bathing / Dressing, Companionship. Hi I'm Brad, I'm 54 with a spinal cord injury and according to Care I'm a senior?... lol Anyway, I'm looking to hire a trustworthy, personable, enthusiastic and very reliable PCA for hands-on care in Palm City. Ideally I need to fill (Tuesdays 8 p.m. until Fridays 8 a.m. and occasional weekends Friday 7:30 a.m. to Sunday 7:30pm) I have flexibility in scheduling, so I can try to accommodate your schedule to a certain extent. Must be free of any physical ailments to be able to transfer me to my chair with the aid of a powered Hoyer type lift. Fill-in hours will be available as needed. I need a sitter for my brother who is in an assisted living facility in Jensen Beach off of Savannah Road. I need a person who can watch my brother for evenings from 8 in the evening to 8 in the morning. You would need to help him to the restroom in the night, and make sure he does not fall.
