About who needs care: My Grandmother has advanced dementia. She can still feed herself and take herself to the bathroom but she is mild to moderately incontinent. She cannot follow conversations. She is hard of hearing, has very limited mobility, and has macular degeneration.
About the care needs: A caregiver must be kind and attentive to my Grandmother. She is very suspicious of new people. Patience is very important. My grandmother enjoys animals, word searches, and talking about the past.
Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
