Part Time
About who needs care: My daughter, age 21, has quadriplegic cerebral palsy. She needs someone to get her out of bed with lift, toilet, shower, dress her, put her in her wheelchair, feed her, and take her to school (DVC) in our ramp van. Caregiver would stay on campus while my daughter is in her class, and has free time, but cannot be off-campus. Caregiver would bring my daughter home, and may be asked to help with turning book pages. Caregiver will keep my daughter hydrated and fed.
About the care needs: My daughter is a 21-year-old with near normal intellect, and is very much the typical young adult except for her physical disabilities. When she's not working on her homework, she will likely ask the caregiver to watch sappy romantic comedies or crime drama series with her on TV.
Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
