My name is Vanessa and I am seeking care near Palmdale for my father in his 60s. He would need help with his daily therapy exercises, preparing meals, bathing, laundry and using the restroom. He has become temporarily paralyzed and is mostly bed ridden. Through therapy, he has regained use of his arms. He uses an electric wheelchair to get around which requires the use of a Hoyer lift (willing to train on how to use the Hoyer lift) to get him in/out of bed. He is fully aware of his surroundings and can direct his own care. He is a good man with a great heart. The ideal candidate would be able to assist with his current needs with patience, understanding and have a positive outlook on caring for someone who needs assistance. Stay at home mom looking to getting back to work and will occasionally be dropping by during work hours. Must be willing to assist with pet duties for a lovable low maintenance pet such as feeding and keeping water bowl full. Three times a week for 7 hours per day needed, (Mon, Wed, and Thurs).
