Manhattan Beach family needs a full-time childcare person/assistant. Must be energetic and willing to engage with children. Our ideal match will meet the requirements below. This job position is about running business errands when needed (note that this position is still flexible and will not really affect your daily activities) and also keeping documentation of every assignment given, reporting them all to me via email and texts. Your home is your office yet no client will visit, only phones and emails. Interact with clients, handle logistics and freight service, sit for delivery, pick up documents at the post office, disclose information to my business associates in your location, reserve hotels, book flight tickets and other domestic assignments. I need a reliable part-time nanny that can do school pick up in Hawthorne, drop off in Gardena, and supervision for an hour or two after. About who needs care: My grandfather has dementia, diabetes, mobility issues and his blood pressure fluctuates from high to low. He likes to color, paint, watch television and playing cards. For the most part he is at home all day unless he has doctors appointments. About the care needs: A male nurse is preferable because I think that's who he'd be more comfortable with. We also need someone who can project their voice because he doesn't hear very well. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
