About who needs care: Great Aunt is 98 yrs old, in good health overall, just high blood pressure that she takes meds for. She walks, talks, feeds & goes s to bathroom by herself. She's very sharp and funny. She loves to talk, watch TV, and plays the Lottery.
Mainly needs assistance with heating her already prepped meals (in microwave oven), giving her meds, dressing, some help with "potty" when necessary, & some companionship. Very light house-keeping--mainly picking up after her when necessary.
Mornings: 2hrs, (11 am- 1pm) - to give her breakfast & meds and help her get dressed.
Nights: 6-7hrs (9 p.m. - 3 or 4am)- to give her night snack, help her prep for bed, empty overnight "potty" near her bed, and just to be there (for her safely).
About the care needs: A female that's very kind, patient, compassionate and has a great sense of humor. Someone that's family-oriented because she has family members that are also helping to care for her.
No specialized skills are needed since Aunt isn't sick nor has any major underlying conditions.
Someone that's vaccinated and willing to wear mask when physically close to her.
Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
