Seeking care for my father in his 70s. Services needed: medication prompting, mobility assistance, help staying physically active. No prior experience required. Male caregiver preferred. He has brain cancer. He's lost most of his mobility over the past week. I'm looking for someone who is strong. We need a strong individual who can lift my father from bed to wheelchair/walker to the toilet and his lift chair. He has terminal brain cancer and lost his ability to communicate awhile back. However, he was mobile until about a week ago. He weighs over 200 lbs. We have helped my mother with him this week, but we are in search of someone strong enough to get him to bed, chair, toilet.

Engage in creative learning with daily activities that help stimulate him (reading with him, learning colors, shapes, singing songs, dancing, etc.) Arts and crafts, and nature walks around the neighborhood for outside time. HE LOVES OUTSIDE.

We need hands-on care to take care of my mother in Kaufman. Assistance with medication is needed. One of your responsibilities will be helping with bathing. Personal care required, including feeding. We might ask you to run errands now and then. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker.

About who needs care: She has Alzheimer's and forgets to take her daily pills. She still drives but gets nervous/ struggles while driving. She works from 7-11 a.m. Monday through Friday. She forgets a lot of things such as to eat and what she has to do/ has already done within the day.
