Johnstown Personal Assistant Jobs

We are looking for a nanny for our two children in Johnstown. Mom is beginning a job working from home so we are looking for care during the day, Mon-Fri, 8-5. We have two cute girls who are 3 and 1. We are wanting someone who can help plan daily activities for learning and creativity, play, prepare lunches, and assist in picking up from the days activities. The 3-year-old will be doing a virtual reading program that will require some assistance. We have a cat who likes to hang around but not be bothered. We have a spunky, fun, adventurous 21-month-old girl. We have been lucky to have a neighbor watch her over the past year and some months but she has gone off to college. We prefer someone come to our home on these days just to cover the gap from me leaving for work to my husband returning. We have two older children (13 and 15 but they are self sufficient and would not need assistance). Experience is preferred. There could be occasional need for early or late stays due to shift coverage at work (as early as 9 a.m. or late as 630pm), though these are not typical or frequent. Wages negotiable. S. loves playing outside, learning new words or phrases, reading - all the books, building towers with blocks, singing nursery rhymes. Patience, understanding, creative thinking. We have a cat and a large yellow lab - very friendly.

My father can be anxious when transferring because of his fear of falling so the caregiver must be patient and compassionate to his needs. He weighs 200+ lbs so we need someone who is strong. My dad's main impairment is his mobility. We are looking for someone to help in operating a Hoyer lift. He has a sharp mind and definitely has a sense of humor. He is a people person. My mom is his primary caregiver but she gets weary taking care of him. He is a retired farmer and desires to be strong enough to walk again. Due to covid-19 we will require the use of a mask and good hygiene.
