Mom is 84 years old. She had a stroke in November that left her as a full assist. She needs help with bathing, dressing, meds get crushed up, and changing her. Mom can feed herself, but does requires someone to do pretty much everything else. She cannot stand or walk and not much use of left arm/hand. She can communicate clearly and does have a bit of dementia. Mom wakes up in her room, she will need changed. lift and put her in wheel chair. Bring her to table to eat breakfast and meds. Clean up Bring her to hospital bed in living room. That's where she spends most of her time. Then put her in pj's and back to bed in her room.

In the morning give breakfast (coffee bagel/eggs/what ever is easiest). Making sure he had taken his morning medications. Emptying his urinal in the toilet, laying out a new diaper. Encourage showering, may need assistance getting in/out(may not want help at all) and laying clothes out for him. Very light house keeping. There may be an occasional day that he may want to get out of the house. He does have a dog that would need to be let out the back door and fed. During free time he will most likely want to watch TV with you. Before leaving, provide him with lunch and water. Looking for someone who will be comfortable with picking up the house, assisting mobility(usually refuses), cleaning, bathing, dogs, hearing stories told multiple times and the news channel being played at the highest volume. We are looking for a Mother's helper to assist with infant care and light housework while I work from home. An occasional weekend date night out would be great as well! We are looking for someone who is patient and pleasant, but also reliable and on time. Hello, my father is 75 years old and in need of some assistance. He lives alone. We are looking for someone with patience and kindness for him. The hours are relatively flexible. He needs someone to fill his prescriptions on Sundays or Mondays for the week. Then another visit a few days after (Tuesday/Wednesday) in the evening / afternoon to help light groceries and make sure his meds we taken the r previous days. Then another visit like Friday to again check his meds are taken and foods in the fridge or prepared foa meal. So essentially 3 days a week for now, a few hours a day. There's no college degree required I'm not sure why it keeps listing that. Only transportation needed.
