We need hands-on care to take care of my father in Covina. We are especially interested in someone that would be willing to make this a long term caregiver position. My dad (he is 93) has dementia and still lives in his home with my mother (she is 80). The ideal caregiver would be comfortable with dogs, have transportation to help with doctor appointments and other daily tasks, be tech savvy to assist with internet/computer use, be available each week 3-4 days for 4 hours a day starting about 9 a.m. While my mom can manage some household tasks, she needs help with taking care of my dad including these items: grooming, bathing, light housekeeping, appointments, and more.

We are a blended family and share our youngest 50/50 with his mom. As a result, we are looking for someone who can help us consistently in the afternoons on Monday, Tuesday, and every other Friday. About who needs care: Patient is in Hospice, she is dietetic but is no longer following any strict diets (per her PCP recommendation) Her ideal day is mostly watching movies and eating whenever possible (she eats very little) She has a hard time remembering things but this is due to the medication she is currently taking. About the care needs: Patient and kind! Im looking for someone who understand that she does not have much time left and the little time lest should be treated with the utmost dignity and respect. She needs assistance going to the restroom, she can still manage to make it to the restroom but needs help with cleaning afterwards. This is an afternoon nanny position for my 9-year-old daughter, 7-year-old son and 5-year-old daughter. The position involves picking up the kids from their after school programs and taking them to their extracurricular activities. Once home, dinner will need to be prepared and some homework assistance provided (usually only for the 7-year-old).
