Looking for caring and compassionate companion. My mother has Dementia and wants to stay in her home. Caregivers are required for safety. Needs assistance to blow drying hair, AM pill reminder, sanitizing counters, door handles, light switches with wipes, and assistance with occasional spills.
Showers, washes hair, uses the toilet, and dresses by herself, gets breakfast cereal and toast, microwaves lunch and makes salads. She enjoys her mechanical cat, talking about past, and watching Giants baseball. Waiting to attend living facility and church activities. Day starts about 7:30 a.m. with a shower and breakfast. Often after 9:00 a.m. before finishing newspaper, eating and taking pills. She washes dishes by hand. She does her own laundry. Meals are delivered. Needs to walk indoors or out, stretch, and get blood circulating throughout the day.
