About who needs care: My dad spends most days in his chair when he's up, watching the news or reading the newspaper. He tends to wander around a lot, though. He used to be a runner - running 2 miles every day for exercise. He goes to church on Sundays and his favorite outing is to go to the grocery store and buy lots of treats. I would like to maybe have him take some small field trips to the park - or something along those lines, just to get out. He doesn't have a lot of hobbies except reading the newspaper and watching the news. About the care needs: Someone with a strong but caring personality. My dad can be very stubborn - he has Kyphosis of the Cervical Spine, has dementia setting in and can be unstable on his feet without his walker but he still insists that he can and should be driving and can get upset at being told no. He wears a catheter and pull ups as he is unable to use the toilet - or feel the need to go - anymore. He needs to be changed several times a day and at night as well as needing a shower morning and night to clean off his back area - we have a "Safe Step" Bathtub for this purpose but he needs assistance. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.

Valencia family needs a part-time nanny for 2 girls ages 1 and 3. I am working from home, but could use assistance with the kids during peak work hours. We have 2 hypoallergenic cats. There is a possibility I will need to return to the office in the fall, which could open this up to being a full-time position.
