In-home Caregiver Position. My wife has significant mobility issues and spends most of her days either in bed or in a wheelchair. She needs assistance with: transferring between wheel chair to bed, toileting, showering, dressing, grooming, eating, etc. Currently, we have a caregiver Tuesday through Friday from late morning until about 6 p.m. I'm considering more assistance with my wife's care and am primarily looking for help on Saturdays, Sundays and/or Mondays during the day. Secondarily, finding help in evenings on any day(s) between roughly 6 and 10 p.m. If you're interested, I would like to know more about you, how you might fit into these needs, what your availability would be, and what your hourly rate would be. My eldest son has food allergies and is a very picky eater. Id like someone to assist with prepping healthy meals and to make meal time more fun. He is in preschool each day from 9a-12p and he generally takes a nap from 1:30-3:30p. During the hours he's home I like for him to play and be read books (we don't do screen time). Additionally, in the mornings I may occasionally need help with our newborn (feedings, diaper changes, etc) while I run errands.

About who needs care: he has dementia and is currently in the hospital he had a minor surgery that was supposed to outpatient, and hes been having issues with his blood pressure being too low, he gets dizzy every time he gets up and after being in the hospital for 3 weeks he has lost a lot of his strength. before he went into surgery he was very active, walking his dog, cleaning the pool, pulling weeds ect... just want to get him back to that point. In need of a senior care provider with experience to assist with the day-to-day needs of someone with advanced dementia. We have a busy home with kids and pets and need someone who can assist my elderly mother with bathing, dressing, toileting, meal preparation, feeding, as needed while maintaining a clean and safe environment. The role entails waking, feeding, getting her ready for the day, and staying with her until she is picked up by the day care center. Also needed is someone to be present to receive her when she returns in the afternoon. If you are unable to fill both time slots please indicate your preference. This is a M-F position and you must be available all days to be considered.
